Creatively Engaging

I have been using these cards with my 4yrs old frequently. We use it not only as a starting point to explore a wide variety of (26 to be precise!) creatures, but also in various games! Here are a few ways we’ve used them so far- 1. Randomly pick a card. Find the the camouflaging animal, read about it on the rear side and then find more about that creature in an encyclopaedia or in Google. This has led to many interesting conversations. 2. As a memory game. You divide the cards into two stacks of 13 each. The cards are divided alternatively. For instance, A,C,E,G..in one and B,D,F,H.. in another. 1 pile is first laid face up so that you can memorise all the cards. Then you put them face down. Now, you pick a card from the other pile. You say the letter out loud. And you have to find the card that has letter that comes either before or after the letter you picked from the second stack. My description may sound confusing and rather complicated, but it’s easy when you play 3. The other game we play is simply camouflaging the cards in different corners of the house! Arctic Fox under the white pillows, stonefish between planters, owl on the kitchen counter…basically finding matching colours in the space where we are at. 4. The cards are so sturdy, that we’ve also tried to make castle of cards with them We have lots of fun with these cards!! Needless to say they are beautifully illustrated and so thoughtfully made. Cannot recommend it enough to parents and schools for young children!!

Fabulous illustrations with extensive research

Beautifully illustrated set of cards, that not only engage the kids with illustrations, animals, colors but also give a new dimension to learning alphabets. These cards light the spark of curiosity in the little ones about other species and habitats that we share our planet with. A must buy for your little ones, nephews, nieces. Amazing quality and thoroughly researched. A worthy collectible

Excellent resource that grows with you

Beautifully illustrated set; and what I’ve noticed is that the cards grow with you and the child. Even if you might not be able to use all the cards all the time, it’s an amazing resource to see you through a range of discussions from animals to habitats to climate and adaptations. No better way to introduce all this to an inquisitive, little child. Also, quality of the cards and packaging is among the best we have. Cost might seem a bit high (kept me thinking for a while), but definitely worth every rupee considering the extent of usage.
